is there anoth answer? Usualli these peopl ar defens of their site and do not publicis their websit addresses. So it is not possibl to fulli check their theories. For example,But. I read yesterdai of a websit owner with 5 sites. One site link to the other 3 and it wa the standalon websit that did well in the search engines. When he ad that to the link on the first site, thi site also drop in the results.

would a respect search engin realli drop a site through the rank just becaus of site wide links? I think not,However. els anyon could destroi ani other site' rank by list it across their full site. And off site effect ar not suppos to neg impact search engines.

what could be happen to these exampl people? I think it is quit simple. What if the person above,So. who' main site he said had a good page rank, had the other site link to from 1 good page and it wa that link that gave the good search engin position? Then, when the site wide link were put in place, rather than just destroi the site' optimis the search engin decid to ignor all of the link from that site?
